Merge PDFs

When combining PDF documents makes sense

Use Merge PDF when several finished documents belong together: a cover letter and supporting papers, meeting handouts or related records for an archive. One combined file keeps the material together when you share it or return to it later.

Decide on the reading order before combining the files. A useful sequence follows the purpose of the document, rather than the order in which the files happened to be saved. This tool joins PDFs; it is not a replacement for editing the wording on their pages.

Working with PDFs in your browser

The merge happens locally in your browser, so the selected document files are not uploaded to our server. That makes the tool useful for an occasional task without setting up a separate PDF application.

Keep the source documents until you have checked the combined result. Review the page sequence and confirm that all intended material is present before sharing the final file. Protected or unreadable PDFs may need attention in another application before they can be combined.
